US troops remove soil from Fallujah

19 July 2005

"The soldiers are doing strange things in Fallujah," said one of my contacts in Fallujah who just returned. "In the center of the Julan Quarter they are removing entire homes which have been bombed, meanwhile most of the homes that were bombed are left as they were. Why are they doing this?" According to him, this was also done in the Nazal, Mualmeen, Jubail and Shuhada'a districts, and the military began to do this after Eid, which was after November 20th. He told me he has watched the military use bulldozers to push the soil into piles and load it onto trucks to carry away. This was done in the Julan and Jimouriya quarters of the city, which is of course where the heaviest fighting occurred during the siege, as this was where resistance was the fiercest. "At least two kilometers of soil were removed," he explained, "Exactly as they did at Baghdad Airport after the heavy battles there during the invasion and the Americans used their special weapons." He explained that in certain areas where the military used "special munitions" 200 square meters of soil was being removed from each blast site. In addition, many of his friends have told him that the military brought in water tanker trucks to power blast the streets, although he hadn't seen this himself. "They went around to every house and have shot the water tanks," he continued, "As if they are trying to hide the evidence of chemical weapons in the water, but they only did this in some areas, such as Julan and in the souk (market) there as well."

Giving them the benefit of the doubt (which they haven't earned), it could be that they are removing Depleted Uranium, which they are legally obligated to do.

Also last November, another Fallujah refugee from the Julan area, Abu Sabah told me, "They (US military) used these weird bombs that put up smoke like a mushroom cloud. Then small pieces feel from the air with long tails of smoke behind them." He explained that pieces of these bombs exploded into large fires that burnt peoples skin even when water was dumped on their bodies, which is the effect of phosphorous weapons, as well as napalm. "People suffered so much from these, both civilians and fighters alike."
"We napalmed both those [bridge] approaches," said Colonel James Alles, commander of Marine Air Group 11. "Unfortunately there were people there ... you could see them in the [cockpit] video. They were Iraqi soldiers. It's no great way to die. The generals love napalm. It has a big psychological effect." At the time, the Pentagon insisted the report was untrue. "We completed destruction of our last batch of napalm on 4 April, 2001," it said.

In case you all hadn't noticed, the world is falling apart. I posted here back on September 11th, 2007 that the finance world was going to fall apart. http://crucial-systems.com/For_those_of_you_that_dont_pay_attention_to_the_world_of_finance The reason I fled New York was that I could see quite clearly that the wheels were going to come off that wagon and the US may very well collapse into chaos. Alarmist, yes. That's what alarms are for. The solid truth is that the financial markets always precede the real ...

    • Artist Dr. Steven Kurtz cleared of all charges

This was the most bat shit crazy episode in the whole Bush Gestapo Era. Charges are finally dropped, but as Kurtz states, there is no re-compensation for him. The case originated in May 2004, when Kurtz's wife Hope died of heart failure as the couple was preparing a project about genetically modified agriculture for the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Police who responded to Steve Kurtz's 911 call deemed the Kurtzes' art materials suspicious and alerted the FBI. Kurtz explained ...

Dick in 2004. Right. So what were they thinking the second time round ? Its time to get the whole middle east powder keg going. Its time to destroy the US itself USSR-Afghanistan style, thus opening it up for corporate takeover. Its time for Armageddon. They are in contact with space aliens, and its the aliens that told them they had to do it. The so-called Left should give up trying to reason with these people and saying America got ...

    • respect to the deserters

At an Army base in Alaska last year, "there was one guy who literally chopped off his trigger finger with an axe to prevent his deployment," Dr. Thomas Grieger, a senior navy psychiatrist said in an interview. New york times, mon april 9th, 2007 Respect. More respect then I give to the Buddhist monk in Thailand who cut off his penis because it wouldn't sit still during meditation. Interesting: The desertion rate during the Vietnam war was 5% (NYT)
